When looking at biology, uniformity in cells is almost always a good thing. When an abnormality is found it is very often negative; for example, a cancerous cell is one that does not fit in with the rest, it is an alien cell, breaking the uniformity and causing an illness.

I find this fascinating; the way the uniformity of our body is broken by alien cells could be a really interesting way to inform my design. This graphic in particular is quite inspiring in my opinion, and although it is heavily simplifying the way a tumour forms and grows, it perfectly depicts the overall concept, which is what I am wholly interested in.
