Uniformity is such a wide
area, and I think it can relate to so many parts of fashion, and especially
uniform can be translated in many ways into fashion design. A uniform can push
such a strong message to viewers, and can either give a real sense of being and
purpose, or have the exact opposite effect and break the will and individuality
of those forced to wear them.
Having done a bit of
pattern cutting over the course so far, I would like to push these skills
further, and apply them to my over arching concept of uniformity, perhaps
making many of the pattern pieces uniform in size, shape or material.
